Ascension Management Group, LLC works with staff, volunteers, and the planning committee to develop, plan and organize your conference. A key success factor will be utilizing our expertise along with the local planning committee's invaluable experience in the planning and implementation process.
Before beginning any project, we like to take a step back and define several critical components to the conference that will serve as guide posts throughout the life of the conference.
First and foremost, we work with the client to specify the strategic goals of the conference: is it to build awareness? Create a conference theme? Generate attendance? Brand development? These are just a few examples of the "WHY" that must be answered before the "HOW" comes into play.
After the client answers that question, we ensure that our client's expectations are in line with ours by defining critical elements like budgeting and staff. These preparatory activities help streamline the planning process and ensure that we are aware of as many potential issues in order to create contingency plans and be prepared for every foreseeable scenario.

Getting Started
The focus of the initial introductory meeting with the planning committee and our key personnel is to launch the conference development phase in an efficient manner by establishing goals, objectives, a detailed conference program and Time Line, thereby creating joint accountability for the most favorable results. This meeting will initiate a line of communication with team members, ensure ownership of the conference by the client and identify priority actions in planning the conference.
Conference management is a process that will include daily planned administration and a monthly status report forwarded to all planning committees. This includes the development of a cross-functional partnership based on collaboration with staff, volunteers, the planning committees, and Ascension Management Group, LLC to ensure that all teams are aware of conference progress and incorporate information as needed.
Communication will be open and frequent via teleconferencing, fax, phone, email and scheduled meetings. Conference development will be based on direct involvement and approval of the program design by the planning committee.
